Plant Care

☀️ Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid intense direct afternoon sunlight, which can scorch delicate foliage.

💧 Water: Allow the upper portion of the potting mix to dry before watering. Water thoroughly, allowing excess moisture to drain. Avoid consistently soggy soil.

🌡️ Temperature: Prefers stable indoor temperatures around 65–80°F. Protect from cold drafts and freezing temperatures.

💨 Humidity: Appreciates moderate to higher humidity with gentle air circulation.

🌱 Soil: A lightweight, well-draining potting mix suitable for Peperomia.

🐾 Pet-Friendly: Peperomia prostrata is generally considered non-toxic to cats and dogs.

A Few Helpful Tips

String of Turtles prefers consistency. Excessive watering, extended dryness, and sudden temperature changes can cause leaf drop or damaged foliage.

Because the planter is unsealed, moisture can pass through the ceramic. Keep the bamboo tray dry when possible and protect delicate furniture surfaces.
